Elderwood offers on-the-job training for individuals wishing to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants provide care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities.
CNA positions are available to those individuals who submit an application, complete the interview process, and successfully complete the CNA training program.
The training is a 5-7 week paid training course that involves classroom work, facility orientation and hands-on instruction. Classes are held at various skilled nursing facility locations and are scheduled according to hiring demand.
Applications for on-the-job training must be completed on-line, based on location preference. Please click on one of the links below to search for position openings at an Elderwood facility in your area. If the facility in which you are interested does not have a nursing assistant/nurse aide trainee position posted, they currently have no openings for that position and no classes are scheduled at that location. You may wish to revisit the website at a later time, as postings are updated regularly.
