We’re excited to share that Lezaya Shannon, an Activities Leader at Elderwood at Cheektowaga, has been honored by NYSHFA (New York State Health Facilities Association) as a recipient of the Caring Hearts Award. Lezaya was nominated and selected from candidates from facilities across Buffalo & WNY. Lezaya has been with Elderwood for three years and when she’s not leading activity programs, is known for enthusiastically greeting families, visitors, and volunteers, assisting wherever she’s needed, and for her kindness and compassion. It’s obvious Lezaya genuinely loves what she does, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the Elderwood family.
